The yacht club has engaged lateral Projects over the last 5 years as part of its staged master plan upgrade. This stage of the upgrade included a complete refurbishment of the ground floor bar and outdoor annex.
Based on the clubs initial brief and budget, we developed the plans through to council and construction. The design process involved the development of concepts for the clubs design committee for approval covering floor, wall, ceiling finishes and furniture.
The construction involved the demolition of the existing façade of the building and installing thirty metres of uninterrupted full height glass bifold doors to enhance natural light and take advantage of the view over the waterway.
